Favorite Designer & why?

I’d have to say Fendi, it’s a very unpredictable line and I’m a huge fan of their innovation. I love the clothes, bags, sunglasses, shoes, boots, etc. That brand completely possesses everything I admire when it comes to fashion.

 

What is the definition of great style to you?

Great style to me is a-typical. I love someone who stands out in the crowd and who doesn’t get buried in their clothes. Some people let the clothes wear them and that completely discredits the outfit their trying to rock. To me it takes a confident & innovative person to possess great style.

 

 

How would you describe your personal style?

I’d have to say my personal style is sexy, classy, sophisticated, and a-typical. I try to set trends as opposed to follow them and it forces my creativity to blossom as I mature.

 

 

What is your interpretation of the word “Head Banger” for our accessory line?

The word Headbanger to me means headache inducing fashion… overload. When I look at our product I get overwhelmed because it’s literally like a candy store for Girls…and you know what sugar brings…headaches! (Laughs) No but seriously, the product & name speaks for itself, it takes a fly chick to pull our earrings off, the attention will follow you with Headbangers on, so be prepared to shine when you put our product on.

 

 

In a room full of strangers in a social setting, what role would you play? The Socialite, The Wall Flower, or the …….?

I can actually be both depending on my mood. Sometimes I love to chill, observe, hold up the wall and socialize on a low key level, other time I like to be the life of the party, make my rounds meet & greet. I’m considered ½ introvert ½ extrovert according to Myers Briggs. (Laughs)

 

 

As far as accessories, what can’t you leave the house without? Tell us your favorite accessory…

Definitely earrings, thus why I got into the business. Since I was young my Mom had me on big earrings, anyone who knows me knows that I never played with the earrings, they’ve always been large & in charge and even if small, I can’t leave home without them. They are such a defining addition to your look, and earrings can make an event 10 x’s more fabulous than it already is. Step your game up with Headbanger!

Do you ever wish you had another name?

Yep, I love my Sisters name “Zina Marie” it’s exotic & beautiful to me.

What’s your good Luck Charm?

Jesus

When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?

Umm no, I put it on the curb so it’s not in the streets unless I’m next to the return bin. (Laughs)

Favorite Fashion Designer & why?

Roberto Cavalli hands down. The prints, the cuts, attention to detail, bold embellishment and ability to play with everything from fur to jewels. Need I say more? I’m completely in love! My second is Betsey Johnson. The lines ability to transcend era is flawless! Gucci and Louis Vuitton would be next on the list.

How would you describe your personal style?

I think that my personal style is like my personality, a contradiction. It can hit on every end of the spectrum. My style is eclectic, expressive, at times slightly conservative, with a dash of hippy! (Laughs) I love my heels and boots at times, but if I could stay in flip-flops or bare foot all year long, I would!

What does the word hustle mean to you?

Long hours, hard work, and great accomplishments. Hustling is being FAITH-FULL Its seeing the finish line no matter how bumpy the path seems ahead and learning to put on your skates and ride with it until what you want, is yours.

As far as accessories, what can’t you leave the house without? Tell us your favorite accessory…

My 'cant leave without accessories' would have to be earrings and a great bag! I'd feel naked without either, and to me, a great pair of earrings and/or the perfect bag can say it all. They can make a statement out of a wife-beater, and provide an illusion over any bad hair day.

What's a saying that you say a lot?

“Oh, I’m hella mad”, I use it for everything. It’s my "WOW", “Are you kidding me” and “really? “ all rolled up in one. If you’re telling me a story and you hear it once.. You know I’m listening (Wink)

Do you ever wish you had another name?

Yes, I always wished my name was Apollonia! (Laughs) It’s just so exotic, atypical and there was only one. I love my name, but I know about nine other Tiffany’s, and four share my middle name! (Laughs) Not to mention that every male I know has at least three 'Tiff’s' in his phone. But I take it as a challenge to set myself apart.. And I must say I love the frequent subliminal shout outs! (Laughs)

What’s your good Luck Charm?

GOD and my faith. It works every time.

What was your favorite game as a kid?

Just give me my cooking set pots and pans in the tub with some bubbles, 3 Barbie’s (with a comb), 2 Transformers, and my remote control boat.. And I’d be good until the water got cold!

If you could fast-forward your life, would you?

And miss this ride? Never!

What's the strangest talent you have?

I don’t have any strange talents, but I can do a lot of imitations of people

What was your childhood nickname?

My granddaddy called me shay-shay and boo-boo

Do you have any strange phobias?

Okay this is a little strange, but I do not like the costume characters at theme parks. It’s eerie to me, seeing a big Dora the Explorer or Barney walking around.. I see why my little niece use to cling to my leg whenever she saw them because I was clinging to her too

Do you ever wish you had another name?

When I was younger I wished my name was just a '?' because my grandmother use to call my name so much that it use to drive me crazy. If it were just a symbol, it would have been a lot more peace in the house. (Laughs) Besides that Shayla is perfect

What’s your good Luck Charm?

Don’t really have a good luck charm, I just have positive people around me who motivate me and keep me believing in myself

When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?

It depends on how far the cart return is, and how many people are around. Usually I don’t and I just leave it there and as soon as it start rollin I jump in my car and rush off. I look through my rearview mirror and I see that “ DAMN” the cart just smashed into a Mercedes! Oh well gotta get home before the ice cream melts…(Laughs)

What was your favorite game as a kid?

My favorite game as a kid, ummmm, I had more then one, sometimes I use to think I had ADD because I could not stay still or pay attention to one thing..(Laughs), but I would say I loved Operation because I really use to think I was a doctor until that damn buzzer went off because I couldn’t get the wishbone out his rib, and then I realized that being a doctor was not for me. Too much damn pressure!

Do you think more about the past, present or future?

I think more about the present because what I am doing now is what is what will bring the outcome that I desire for the future. God gave me choices in life and I made them, he guided me down the right path for a reason. Even though I may not understand why, he definitely understands. And I can’t wait to see what he has lying ahead for me. SO FAR SO GOOD

If you could fast-forward your life, would you?

No. My life is going at a perfect pace and even though I am eager to know what lies ahead I am patient to know what it takes to get there.
